Oh Yeah.... I Have A Blog
Ha... sometimes I forget about my blog. I do like my blog, but I am ever so much better about keeping up with my flickr and now, my Ravelry pages. I've had a somewhat busy November. Work, gearing up for the holidays and little spats of general feeling-under-the-weatherness have kept me pretty well entertained. I managed a very quick two day trip to Seattle over Thanksgiving with Jeff to see his family. We stayed at the Westin with his sister Paula. It was fun- I got to see/do fun touristy Seattle things I hadn't managed in previous trips. There's a flickr set if anyone wants a peek.
Of all things, I've been knitting socks lately. I discovered knitting two socks on two circulars and I am in love. I get a pair at the end. It's quite fun. Without further ado- Pair number one.
Charade Socks. I used Artyarns Ultramerino 4 in colour 131 and size 1 needles. These took about a week to make. I love them. I still haven't worn them. I might give them away so right now they are at Harmony as a sample while I decide.
Pair number two are the Waving Lace Socks from Favorite Socks.
The yarn is Zen Strings Bambewe and I used size 0 needles. I'm really enjoying the two at a time thing and have more pairs planned- right after I finish a big secret project I'm working on.

Those are great socks! And I love all of the stealth knitting going on this time of year =)

Oh, I just love that green yarn. It is so cute with the brownie splotches.

What beautiful socks - the waving lace pattern is especially beautiful in that color.

Love the socks! I like looking at Ravelry and flickr but I think I like blogs more - you get a more complete posting that way. Thanks for updating!

The socks are fabulous!
you are right - there is a lot to check with the blogs, ravelry, and flickr. they are all so great, and offer slightly different things.

Beautiful socks.
I wish I can attempt to knit 2 socks at one time, but my first experience was too horrible. Lots of yarn tangles. May be someday I'll try again.
Have a good Holidays.
