Lace Stitch Shrug
For what it is I'm happy with it:
Pattern: Lace Stitch Shrug from Nashua Handknits Vacation
Yarn: Rowan Summer Tweed
Needles: Size 10 and 8 Knitpicks Options
Started: 01/31/07
Finished: 02/04/07
Mods: None really except for the fact the lace pattern has an error in it. The lace pattern for rows 1,3,5 and 7 should end with k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, k2tog tbl, k1 instead of whatever it does read. This was super simple to knit up, but the best part about it was the yarn... I lurve the Summer Tweed. It's not elastic at all, it's not springy but it's made of steel. I ripped and re-knitted and it always came out just as fabulous as before. Plus I just really enjoy the feel of the raw silk.

Beautiful work Ami.

Very nice blog! I've looked at all the current new blogs on the knitblog ring, and yours is the only one I actually subscribed to. Beautiful work, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the Sundara silk lace.

Oooo, really pretty. I know just what I would wear it with. I may have to make one. Thanks for running the pattern first! =)
